Andrew T. Barbe, MBA CPA CGMA is the Founder and President of Thunderbird Advisory Group. He has over 30 years of finance, consulting and operations experience in key industries including energy, professional advisory services, healthcare, industrial services, business solutions and public accounting.  He is a noted subject matter expert in the area of finance and accounting, related IT technologies, human resources and business performance improvement and optimization. 

He has held the role of Partner in a CPA firm as well as Chief Financial Officer for several private equity sponsored entities as well as privately held businesses (within the energy, staffing and healthcare industries).  He served as a Managing Director for a boutique financial advisory services firm providing engagement management and oversight for both public and private clients.  Mr. Barbe also served in the energy audit practice with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and has deep experience in operations management and business development roles with other firms.

Mr. Barbe holds a BBA and an MBA.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and holds the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is also a member of the AICPA FVS Section which focuses on business valuations, calculations and quality of earnings.
